His parents were Thomas and Nancy. Abraham Lincoln began his life as a pioneer farm boy: doing chores, such as force water, chopping wood, and helping in the fields. Lincoln was nine historic period when his mother died from milk sickness. His father remarried to Sarah. A remarkable women, Sarah shrub Lincoln exerted an enormous influence on Abraham. She was uneducated, but promote him to learn, and treated him as if he was her own. I was very surprise when I read the part about his parenting skills, and made me sunny that I am a good parent. Abraham being in the Senate and a lawyer helped his political course go even further. I thought it was interesting how Lincoln didnt want to work as a child, he would have preferred to read and learn. Every time he had a break, or needed to go somewhere he would read as he went. I think his deficient to read and learn also eventually gave him the knowledge he would need to become president. My in the flesh(predicate) opinion of Lincoln is that he opposed slavery, but really didnt end it. He was indecisive at times in both his personal life and political.
