Introduction:
An experiment to determine the slide fastener of thermal zippo gained while oestrus wet by burning alcohol.

Materials:
Clamp
Spirit burner
Scales
Thermometer
Calorimeter
30cm3 distilled water
Method:
The clamp was set up to forbear the calorimeter.
30cm3 of distilled water was poured into the can.
The alcohol in the spirit burner was weighed and preserve.
The temperature of the water was recorded at the beginning.
The spirit burner was lit and the water heated for or so 5 minutes on over the flame from the alcohol.
later 5 minutes the temperature was recorded again.
The energy input and outputs were recorded.
The efficiency was calculated.

Discussion:
The conversion of energy was chemical energy in the alcohol to thermal energy in the burning, and past that heat transferring into the water to heat the water up so far as making it start to boil.
