THE HUMAN CONFLICT: boy VS PATHOS

Euripides portrayed it in his two antithetical whole works the Bacchae and Medea. And many others have sought to verse a nostrum to this cantankerous discordance for as long as mans prescient sight has addled the heart: passion versus reason, the human tendency to let emotions rule over rationale, or vice versa.
For the remainder of this paper I wish to iron out the pros and cons of each, and prove, possibly, that each is inextricably necessary to the other, or even that one is veracious, the other misleading.
