So when one country was involved in virtually conflict all of the countries were, this made a world war inevitable. When Austria-Hungary declared war their allies, Germany and Italy declared war as sound leading into the First World War. In contrast, during World War II the war was started because Germany was upset with the Treaty of Versailles, the treaty that cease World War I, not because of their commitment to their allies. Some great deal might argue that World War II was excessively started because of allies since Germany and Italy were allies but during the War these two countries acted in their own interest more then they did in World War I.
When the World War I started the countries of Europe were fervent to go to war because there wasnt a war in Europe for quite along time. The men had a romanticized view of the way war was fought. They thought they were liberation to go under on their uniforms and the girls would love them. They had no idea what the war was going to be like. This affected the start of World War II because the men and governments new what the war was going to bring they did everything essential to not go to war. In fact if the allied powers would contrive gone to war with Germany right away Germany would have been unkept and World War II never would have happened.
