Introduction
This report has been commissioned to explore the view of euthanasia according to the current United Kingdoms policy. This report will also examine the possibilities that the arguments that are either for or against euthanasia are justified. After establishing the current policy this report will compare this with two other countries policies and using arguments to critically evaluate the findings.
Euthanasia is a word taken from the quaint Greek language and is made from two words, eu and death instinct which when translated means a good death.



Euthanasia is often comprehend as a very controversial subject beca manipulation of the complexities of the arguments, collectible to being five forms of euthanasia, the slippery slope argument and the use of living wills.
Euthanasia is classed as a mercy kill at its basic level but it can be divided into categories such as active and passive euthanasia where it is feasible to end a life giving a large quantity of medication or withholding lifesaving medication.
