Illegal immigrants, as I understand it, are entitled to several basic rights: right to life, right to a trial by jury, and right to not be tortured. Thats near it, and thats probably the way it should stay until that immigrant is able to legally start documentation allowing him to stay in the US. If this is not the case, the US (like both country) has every right to deport an vile immigrant.

The Constitution does not protect banned immigrants with the right to bear arms, the right to property, etc. Those are rights reserved for citizens or persons under the jurisdiction of the united States, which means legal residents.

And while some extralegal immigrants do indeed pay taxes, and abide by the law, a bang-up deal of them do not. Just look at the itemize of hospitals that have been forced to close because so many illegal immigrants use their services for free, and so many illegal immigrants fertilize birth there (usually far much than the U.S. citizens). Or those illegal immigrants (not ALL, but MANY of them) who embark their children to US public schools (paid for by US taxpayers) and do not pay taxes themselves.

An illegal immigrant has no duty of allegiance to the United States. I dont see why the United States should have a duty of allegiance to an illegal immigrant. Doesnt make sense.





Btw, it costs seven times more to send an illegal immigrant to jail than it does to give a scholarship to a U.S. student. In fact, as many as 30% of fierce crime criminals in US federal prisons are illegal immigrants. Who pays for these prisons? Taxpayers.

With all the hyped up fears of swine flu jumping from Mexico to the U.S., more and more US citizens seem to be joining the panic by calling for the U.S./Mexico border to be completely shut down. (Btw, this give not do anything to stop or slow the mobilise of the flu, since the flu is already here, so the move would be pointless.)
