Introduction
This particular paper deals with a vultures functional response. We will be doing both experiments that incur two potential aim types for the functional response. The two types use were diets that require handling time and foods that dont. A marauders functional response refers to its ability to capture fertilize at different prey densities. If there was an increase in the amount of food available to an animal its rate of feeding increases and then levels off. Ecologists use graphs to describe functional responses. Holling described triple types of functional responses, which all eventually level off at a uttermost feeding rate. The objective of this lab instance was to determine our functional response as a predatory animal to different types of prey. My hypothesis for the first experiment is that it is going to demo a type two functional response cut down because at the low prey densities the food will sate longer to find and when the prey density is high, the amount of prey consumed will level out at a maximum feeding rate. For the second experiment it is going to be a type one functional response because it is going to ware little or no time to find and puzzle out the food.





Method
The method that was used for determining the functional response for the two samples, involved collecting and timing how many prey advise be consumed. The first step was to pick a food that required handling time. The sample prey that was picked for the experiment was Hersheys kisses. The next part of the experiment required a epic area for the prey to be randomly bemused. The Hersheys kisses were come out into five root words, a group of 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25.
